A nail-biting finale to the 2022 growing season saw the vineyard lashed by fierce winds and rainy squalls. Yet the shiraz slowly developed both an array of dark fruit aromatics and lush, juicy fruit weight and developed fine and complete tannins, highlighting the granitic minerality of the site and the complexity formed by farming in a marginal yet consistent site. 750ml

Aroma: dark berry compote, blackberry, mulberry, spiced plum, violets and lavender, hint of baking spices, cracked black pepper
Palate: dark juicy black and purple berry fruit, fine complete tannins, firm but refined, juicy, generous, salted plum, hints of cedar, cinnamon, Sichuan pepper, star anise
