The ancient granitic sand that blankets Duke's Vineyard is erosion from the Porongurups, 1.2-billion-year-old mountains that have inspired stories and beliefs in the local Menang people for generations. Meaning ‘place of the spirit totems,’ the uniquely biodiverse Porongurups emanate an energy and spiritual essence which are impossible to ignore.

To signal our contribution to the next chapter of Duke's, we have created a label that honours this special land and its inhabitants. Perfumed and plush, this first ever Pinot Noir grown on the estate is the culmination of a 30-year journey to make an expression of a notoriously fickle grape that channels the complexity, power and beauty of this unique ‘terroir.’

RED ROSE PETAL • RASPBERRY LEAF • CITRUS GRANITA
